Check the Power Source:

  • Make sure that the USB port in your vehicle is providing sufficient power.

  • If possible, try connecting the Wireless Adapter to a wall USB charger to see if the issue lies with the vehicle's USB port.

Verify if the Wireless Adapter is On:

  • Check for any LED indicators on the Wireless Adapter that show signs of power.

  • Try searching for the Autosky device in the WiFi and Bluetooth settings on your phone to see if it appears under names like CarPlayBox or Autosky followed by some numbers and letters.

Check Device Connection:

  • Ensure that the Wireless Adapter is properly connected to the USB port in your vehicle.

  • Verify that the USB port is working by testing it with another device.

Try Another USB Port:

  • If your vehicle has more than one USB port, try connecting the Wireless Adapter to a different port.

  • Some USB ports may have different power levels or compatibility.

Change the USB Cable:

  • Try using a different USB cable for the Wireless Adapter.

  • USB cables can become damaged or defective, so testing with a new cable may resolve the issue.

Update Firmware or Perform Factory Reset:

  • If the Wireless Adapter is on but not connecting to your vehicle, try updating the firmware. Check the user manual and follow the provided instructions to update the device's firmware.

  • Perform a factory reset on the adapter. Refer to the adapter's manual for specific steps.

Restart the Device:

  • Disconnect the device from the vehicle's USB port, wait about 10 seconds, and reconnect it.

  • Turn off your vehicle and turn it back on.

  • Try restarting the stereo by performing a hard reset, which varies by stereo model. Please check here for specific instructions.

Contact Technical Support:

  • If you never managed to get the adapter working in your vehicle, it might not be compatible with your vehicle model.

  • If the device was previously working in your vehicle and has stopped working despite trying all the steps above, contact Technical Support.
