1. Verify the Device Connection:
Make sure the AI Box is properly connected to the USB port in your vehicle.
Try using different USB ports if your vehicle has more than one.
2. Check the LED Indicator:
If the LED is off: This may indicate that the device is not receiving power.
3. Change the USB Cable:
Try using a different USB cable for the AI Box.
Cables can sometimes be defective or damaged.
4. Verify the Power Source:
Ensure that the USB port in your vehicle is functioning correctly.
Connect another device to the same USB port to check if it provides power.
5. Check the LED Color:
Blue LED: If the LED is blue, you should start CarPlay or Android Auto on your vehicle's screen.
Red LED: If the LED is red, check if your vehicle has factory-installed CarPlay or Android Auto.
6. Restart the Device:
Try restarting both the AI Box and your vehicle’s infotainment system.
Disconnect the AI Box from the USB port, wait about 10 seconds, and reconnect it. Also, try using a different USB port.
Ensure it is properly inserted into the USB port.
Turn off your vehicle and then turn it back on.
If the problem persists, try performing a hard reset on the stereo. The method varies by stereo model, so please check here for specific instructions.
7. Compatibility Check:
If the AI Box never turned on in your vehicle and the LED indicator is on, it may not be compatible with your vehicle model.
