Have you ever linked your card to a platform for a one-time payment or subscription, only to later realise you no longer need the service? Or maybe a platform keeps trying to charge your card, but your balance is low and you’re not ready to top up, risking the possibility of your card being terminated?
In such cases, it’s important to remove or unlink your card from that platform to avoid unexpected charges or service interruptions.
In this article, you’ll learn how to safely and easily unlink your card from any platform it was previously connected to.
Simply follow the step-by-step instructions below to take control of your payments and protect your funds.
Cancelling Your Subscriptions as an iOS User
Open the Settings app on your Apple device.
Tap on your name (Apple ID) at the top of the screen.
On the Apple ID page, tap "Subscriptions". A list of all the platforms you’ve linked your card to will appear.
Tap "Cancel Subscription" next to any platform from which you want to unlink your card.
Congratulations! You have successfully removed your card from the selected platform.
Cancelling Your Subscriptions as an Android User
For Android users, the process is slightly different since card information is managed via Google Pay or the Google Play Store.
Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
Tap on your profile icon (your name or photo) in the top-right corner.
Scroll down and select "Payments & Subscriptions".
Tap on "Subscriptions". You will see a list of platforms linked to your card.
Tap "Cancel Subscription" for any platform you want to unlink your card from.
Your card is now successfully unlinked from the selected platform.
Note
If, after following these steps, a platform continues to charge your card, we recommend reaching out to the platform’s customer support directly.
Please note that Bitnob does not have control over third-party services you may have linked your card. Only the platform charging you can cancel or modify the billing on their end.
