Some services and merchants place restrictions on virtual cards due to IP location issues and for security reasons, which are out of our control. It is in this vein that a user has to submit an appeal in order for the visa card to be checked before proceeding.
To Submit an appeal on AliExpress for a failed transaction, kindly follow the steps below:
Kindly click on the Appeal button displayed on AliExpress, and submit the required documents with the instructions given to you.
You will be asked to submit the list below:
Front and back screenshot(s) of a Valid Government ID.
Screenshot(s) of your virtual card, which includes the details on the front, and then after tapping on the card, the details on the back
The name of the bank that issued the card if requested is Bitnob
Screenshot(s) of your Statement of account (from your settings page on the app)
To generate your statement of account, follow these steps:
1. Swipe up from "Actions."
2. Click on "Settings."
3. Select "Account Statement."
4. Click on "Make a Request."
You will then have the option to generate a statement for your USD or BTC wallet. Choose your USD wallet, select a start and end date, and the statement will be sent to your email address.
Note
After taking the screenshot, ensure not to crop out any part of your screen. This means that you have to send the original screenshot as it is when you want to submit the appeal.
Ensure you carefully clean off the card numbers instructed by AliExpress.
Ensure to inform the service that the card is a virtual card on the Note section.
