Receipt printers can malfunction or lose connection for a myriad of reasons. And there are a number of ways to troubleshoot.
How to identify you have an issue
At the top of many pages in the Serv app, you will see a receipt printer icon. If it is red, you have an error. Tap the icon to get a popup explaining the error.
Ensure the printer has paper and that the paper is installed properly
Check Hardware Mode
In your Settings, select POS hardware. Ensure you have mPOP selected.
Check to ensure your mPOP is paired
On the POS hardware screen:
Tap check POS hardware and check to ensure StarIO status says Connected
Tap select bluetooth printer, ensure your printer is paired and selected
Enter your iPad Bluetooth settings to ensure the device is connected.
Power cycle your mPOP
Turn off register & unplug from wall
Reset iPad
Upon relaunch of C-Trax Serv, check Hardware Mode steps
