We know privacy matters. That’s why we want you to be clear on how your personal data is used when you sign up and invest with CUSP.

We only use your data for three purposes: to provide services, meet regulations, and improve your experience.


1. To provide services

We use your personal data to:

  • Create and manage your CUSP account

  • Open and maintain your brokerage account with Alpaca for trading and custody

  • Process your deposits, withdrawals, and investments

  • Deliver features like Watchlists, AI Insights, and Tailored Portfolios


2. To meet regulatory requirements

As a regulated investment platform, CUSP must comply with UAE, US, and international rules. Your data is used to:

  • Complete KYC (Know Your Customer) checks (ID, selfie, proof of address)

  • Conduct AML (Anti–Money Laundering) and fraud monitoring

  • Share required information with regulated partners (Alpaca Securities in the US)

  • Keep accurate transaction and communication records for auditing and compliance purposes


3. To improve your experience

We also use non-sensitive data to:

  • Keep the app secure and running smoothly (device + usage data)

  • Personalise your Dashboard (goals, progress tracking, portfolio news)

  • Provide market updates and research relevant to your holdings
