We will be the first to admit that the navigation in Event Caddy wasn’t the greatest. By which we mean it was clunky, cumbersome and, let’s face it, plain ugly. That’s why we were so thrilled in Summer 2024 to release our new Left Hand Navigation:

This navigation has a number of features and improvements that should make our users’ lives easier. Notably:

  • It cuts in half the number of navigational elements.

  • It arranges the remaining elements into logical groupings.

  • It’s persistent—no more bouncing around from place to place.

  • It just looks better.

Please try out the new nav and let us know what you think. As always, we’re interested in suggestions as to how we can make it even better.

Aside from the navigation, we made a number of other changes on the system, including:

  • Added a Notes feature to the Event Transactions page, so organizers can add relevant details to line items.

  • Made it possible to hide the Schedule and Tournament Info sections on the main tournament webpage at the request of multiple tournament organizers.

  • Increased the character limits in the Button Label and Description fields for the benefit of bilingual tournaments.

  • Added an Online Store button to the main tournament webpage for ease of navigation.

If you have questions about any of these changes, or suggestions about how we can make Event Caddy even better, please contact support@eventcaddy.com.
