From July to September 2025 we made a number of changes to existing functionality on the system that will hopefully have a big impact on making our Tournament Organizers’ lives easier. We also embarked on one very large project.

First some of the incremental changes:

With respect to our Auctions feature, we made it possible to upload Auction items to the system via a CSV file. We also made it so that Admins can delete erroneous bids via the Bid History page, and we improved the Auction Winners Report.

Previously there wasn’t much Organizers could do in terms of setting up their Tournament Website until they’d selected a Golf Course. We’ve now changed it so that Organizers can set up and edit much of their tournament prior to selecting a Course—because we recognize that not everyone knows where their event will be held by the time they want to start planning.

We made it possible for Tournament Organizers to download (from their Tournament Admin pages) receipts for anything purchased from Event Caddy, and we made enhancements to both the HTML and PDF versions of our receipts.

As for the larger project, we don’t want to say too much at this point, but soon you won’t need to set up your own payment processing system to run a tournament on Event Caddy. Simply enter some information about your Tournament, yourself, your Organization, etc., and we’ll take care of the processing for you. More on this feature soon, but it should make things easier for Tournament Organizers who prefer not to spend time setting up a third party payment processing system.
