What’s New – Spring 2025

Rather than focus on any one feature from April to June 2025, we made a number of incremental changes to existing functionality on the system.

A big one was the introduction of the ability to import Players and Groups from a CSV file. This is invaluable for Organizers who may have started collecting their players on a spreadsheet, and now need to get that data into Event Caddy. Currently you can contact Customer Support and we’ll do it for you, but we are working on making the functionality available to end-users as well.

Also, at the behest of a number of clients, we started doing more with the Company Name data we collect. For example, we added it to the Players Listing page, and the Transaction History and Consumer Reports exports. No more having to cross-reference to determine which person and which transaction are associated with with which Company. We also added Company Name to the PDF and HTML versions of our invoices and receipts for the same reason.

Furthermore we made improvements to the Event Transactions page to include more data, the Custom Questions functionality to increase character limits, and the printable QR Code sheets for Auction items.

Finally—and this is a big one—we upgraded various editors on the system to better support emojis! We know how much you love having emojis in your email blasts and on your tournament website (and how frustrating it was when they caused errors). Now support for emojis should be consistent across the system. Huzzah! And there was much rejoicing.

If you have questions about any of these changes, or suggestions about how we can make Event Caddy even better, please contact support@eventcaddy.com.
