How do I update player information?

Updating info such as the player name, phone number or email can be done by the tournament admin or the actual player

It's quite common to register a foursome but not know the names of everyone you plan to golf with the day of the event. That's why Event Caddy allows you to register players with built-in placeholders for the golfer's name, email and phone number.

Once the player information is known later on it can be updated by either by the player or the tournament admin. We go into detail below how to this for both options.

OPTION #1: UPDATING PLAYER INFO THROUGH THE EVENT WEBSITE

Go to the tournament website and click on the menu via the icon in the top right-hand corner of the page and then select the MANAGE ORDER button.

The player who completed the registration would have received an email with a copy of their receipt. On the next screen that appears, all they need to do is take that receipt # and the email listed in the receipt and enter it in the fields provided before selecting the 'GO!' button.

On the next screen, simply select the 'Edit' button next to any of the player names you wish to edit. It's that easy!


OPTION #2: UPDATING PLAYER INFO THROUGH THE ADMIN DASHBOARD

Login to your Event Caddy admin dashboard and from the side navigation select PLAYER MANAGER > All Players. Locate the player you wish to update and then look for the icon that looks like a 'pencil' on the far right hand side of the page. When your cursor hovers over it the text 'Edit' will appear. Select the 'pencil' icon and then you can proceed with updating the information for that player. That's it!
