Voiding and deleting a transaction

How to void and remove a transaction from the Event Caddy system

If you've already issued a refund (see How to Issue a Refund) or need to remove a player registration/online store transaction from your tournament, you can do this by logging into your admin dashboard and selecting Finances & Commerce -> Event Transactions from the side navigation.

To void a transaction, find the transaction you would like to void and click the three little dots icon located underneath the 'Actions' column. You can then select 'Void this transaction' from the dropdown.

Impact of Voided Transactions

Voided transactions are excluded from your event's finances and player counts. This ensures your financial records and player stats remain accurate. While these transactions no longer affect your event metrics, they can still be deleted if required.

Transactions cannot be deleted by tournament administrators. If you also wish to delete your voided transaction, please reach out to us using the chat icon located in the bottom right-hand corner of your admin dashboard.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage voided transactions within Event Caddy and maintain clean, accurate financial and participant records.
