Offering a free trial is one of the best ways to attract new clients. It gives them a taste of your program before they fully commit, helping build trust and confidence in your coaching. FITR makes it easy to integrate trial periods into your subscription-based programs.
How Free Trials Work
If a client cancels before the trial ends, they won’t be charged.
If they don’t cancel, they’ll be automatically moved onto a paying subscription once the trial ends.
The first payment covers a full billing period; we don’t pro-rate charges.
Clients won’t see the next week of training until their first payment is successful.
Setting Up a Free Trial
When setting your program price, look for the trial option at the bottom of the pricing pop-up.
Choose your trial duration from the available options.
Click Set Price. You’ll now see the trial reflected on the program’s summary page.
Follow the usual steps to complete creating your program.
⚠️ Note: If you use a free trial alongside a launch date on a program that is live but not yet launched (pre-selling), trials will only apply to clients who sign up after the launch date.
Track Clients on Trial
You can easily see who is currently on a trial and how much time they have left:
In the client listing of each program
In the main client list, using the In-Trial filter
Bonus Tips
You can also use coupons to provide extra incentives for clients.
Free trials are fully automated - you set it once, and FITR handles the rest.
Offering a free trial is a simple yet powerful way to give clients a “try before you buy” experience. It can boost sign-ups and help clients feel confident in their decision.
