Fieldy 2 (LED LIGHTS guide)

What does colours on your device mean

Written by Lukas from Fieldy

Your Fieldy uses a single LED to tell you what it's doing — whether it's paired, muted, recording offline, or low on battery. Use this page to decode it. The white LED is always on by default when transcribing. If a user turns it off in settings, there's no light during normal recording.

Quick connection check

Not sure whether you're connected? Single-click the device button:

  • 1 white blink — connected to your phone

If your LED doesn't match this list

  • Blinking white and you're not muted? Your offline storage is likely full. Open the app within Bluetooth range and let recordings sync (Fieldy 2 stores up to 3 hours locally).

  • Stuck on blue? The device is searching for your phone. Make sure Bluetooth is on, the app is open, and you're within 30 feet.

  • Won't light up at all? Charge fully with a different cable or outlet, then hold the button for 2 seconds. If it's still unresponsive, hold for 10 seconds to power reset.
