Referral Program – Overview

The Referral Program is a great way to reward your existing customers every time they refer a friend to your business.

Please note: You'll need to be in our Plus plan or have this feature added onto your Pro plan for an additional fee in order to use it.

How it Works

We give each of your customers a unique code and a URL that they can share with their friends. You may set this URL to any web page that has your booking form installed on it (i.e your website’s booking page).
The new customer then can either use the custom link sent to them with their friend's referral code preselected, or they can create a booking and add their friend's referral code to the discount code field of the booking.
Your new customer receives a discount instantly on their booking, and the existing customer receives a reward. The reward will remain in pending status until the new customer completes their first booking, Then the existing customer will have a reward balance to apply to their next booking.

How to set up a Referral Program

The friend discount and customer reward can be any amount you wish and you are able to set an expiration date for any given reward program,

Create a Referral Program

1. Login to your Launch 27 account as a staff or admin user.

2. Go to Settings -> Promotions -> Referral Program.

3. Click the Create a Referral Program button.

4. Enter the following info:

1. Start Date

2. End Date (if you want the program to ‘never end’, set the Year far into the future)

3. Discount

4. Reward

5. Click Save

Set your Booking URL

The Booking URL is a link to the web page where you’ve installed your booking form.

Tip: Set this URL to a page that allows people to create a booking immediately.

1. Go to Settings > General Settings > Subdomain tab

2. Enter a Booking URL to your booking page.

3. Click Save Changes

How to Disable a Referral Program

1. Login to your Launch 27 account as a staff or admin user.

2. Go to Settings -> Promotions -> Referral Program.

3. Click the edit button next to the Referral Program.

4. Set the End Date to Today’s date.

5. Click Save

What happens when I disable my Referral Program?

When you disable your referral program, new customers will no longer being able to use a referral code or link to get a discount.

However, all of your existing customers can still redeem any rewards they have earned.

How to View Reward Redemptions

You can see a history of each time a customer has redeemed their referral rewards when you go to their customer profile:

How can my customer redeem their rewards?

Your customer can use the rewards they’ve earned by entering their unique code into the Discount Code field on their next booking. These rewards can be combined with any Frequency discount on their booking.
