Starting January 8, 2025, it will no longer be possible to register for Zelle®. If you already use Zelle®, you will be able to send and receive money through the app until March 31, 2025. After this date, Zelle® will no longer be available to send or receive money via MAJORITY. This change will impact all similar mobile banking apps in the United States.
What does this mean for MAJORITY members?
If you already have Zelle®, you can continue using it until March 31, 2025.
If you haven’t registered, you will no longer be able to sign up for Zelle® starting January 8, 2025.
After March 31, 2025, you’ll need to switch to other payment options.
Is MAJORITY compatible with other payment apps?
Yes! MAJORITY remains fully compatible with Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App, so you can continue using these services seamlessly with your MAJORITY account.
What is the best alternative to Zelle®?
The best alternative for sending money to other MAJORITY members is MAJORITY Pay. This service offers instant, secure, and fee-free payments. Encourage your friends and family to join MAJORITY so you can easily split expenses and transfer money without interruptions.
Can I pay people who don’t have MAJORITY?
Not yet! But we’re working on a new feature that will launch in early 2025, allowing you to pay anyone—even if they don’t have a MAJORITY account. This new functionality will provide more flexibility and convenience. Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to the release.
