Overview
The new Popup Order Notes feature in OnRent allows users to enter and display important notes related to accounts and places. These notes automatically appear when creating an order, ensuring that users can review and copy relevant details onto the order. Additionally, all confirmations are recorded as transactions for tracking purposes.
How It Works
1. Adding Notes to an Account
Go to accounts
Edit or create your account
Go to the Notes tab
You can add different types of notes to an account for various purposes:
Internal Description: Internal notes visible only to staff.
External Description: Notes intended for customer-facing documents.
Transport Description: Specific instructions related to transport.
Warehouse Description: Notes for warehouse teams regarding order handling.
2. Adding Transport Notes to a Place
Transport-related notes can also be added to a Place. These notes will appear when selecting a delivery place during order creation.
Go to places
Edit or create your place
Go to the Notes tab
3. Creating an Order with Popup Notes
When creating a new order:
Select an Account – If the selected account has notes, a popup will appear displaying the stored notes.
Review and Confirm – The user can review the notes and confirm them.
Copy to Order – Users have the option to copy the notes onto the order details.
4. Selecting a Delivery Place
When choosing a delivery place on an order:
If the place has transport notes, a popup will appear.
The user can review and confirm the notes.
The notes can then be copied into the order’s transport details.
