This feature is available in the Pro Plus package.

To be able to move an item from one depot to another, first the role setting needs to be enabled for a user role. This is found in System Setup > Roles under the Actions tab.

Once that's been set you'll be able to take care of moving items from one depot to another.

The Quick Depot transfer process described here is a quick and simple mechanism for moving one serialised item at a time or a quantity of bulk items to a different depot.

First of all find the item you want to move by searching for it in the Stock View by item number, or by going to the Availability view and selecting the Stock Item at the bottom, or by going to the Product page and clicking on the Stock Level / item number in there.

When you're in there you'll see the Depot Transfer button on the top of the screen:

...and also a shortcut in the actions menu as shown below.
โ€‹

When you click that a new screen appears. In there select your destination depot. If the item is a bulk item you'll be able to enter a quantity, if its serialised only one can be selected.

Then choose the date and time the item should be available in the depot from. Optionally enter a description and then click ok.

If you want to see the movement of the items you can go to the Stock Transactions tab for the items and see their movements. If you want to cancel the Depot Transfer movement for any reason (for example you put the wrong date in) you can click Action > Delete and then perform the Depot Transfer again.

If the item is a bulk item, you can see the transfer out on the bulk stock level for the depot you moved them from, to see the movement in, go to the bulk stock level for the item in the destination depot:

Note: If for any reason the Depot Transfer causes a shortage, you'll be warned of this and will need to resolve the shortages accordingly depending on your system setup.
