Why is Social Casino no longer available in Oklahoma?
Effective November 1, 2026, Oklahoma Senate Bill 1589 classifies casino-style sweepstakes games that use dual-currency systems — including slots — as gambling under state law. In order to comply with this legislation, Pickem is required to disable Social Casino (sweepstakes gameplay) for users located in Oklahoma from that date onwards.
We are fully committed to operating in compliance with state laws and regulations.
When does this take effect?
Social Casino will be disabled for Oklahoma-based users on Nov 1, 2026, at 12:00am ET.
Can I still use Pickem in Oklahoma?
Yes. Your account stays active and Ripping Packs is still available on the platform. You can keep opening packs and collecting cards as usual.
What features are affected?
From November 1st, 2026, the following Social Casino features will be unavailable to users located in Oklahoma:
Playing Social Casino games
Purchasing Gold Coin packages
Claiming Social Casino daily bonuses or mission rewards
Submitting new Sweepstakes Coin (SC) redemption requests
Ripping Packs is not affected.
What happens to my balance?
Your Gold Coin (GC) and Sweepstakes Coin (SC) balance will remain on your account. If you have SC eligible for redemption, you must submit your redemption request before October 31, 2026, at 00:00am ET.
Note: Any SC remaining in your balance on the date of the ban (November 1, 2026) will be migrated 1:1 to your cash balance, which you can keep using in Ripping Packs.
Can I still redeem my Sweepstakes Coins?
Yes — if your SC balance meets the redemption requirements, you can submit a redemption request before the deadline. Any redemption request submitted before November 1st, 2026, at 00:00am ET will still be processed, even if it is completed after that date. New redemption requests can't be submitted after the deadline.
I'm moving out of Oklahoma to another state. Can I access Social Casino again?
Yes. If you relocate to an eligible state, Social Casino will be available to you again. Your account, balance, and history will be exactly as you left them. Simply log in from your new location and access will be restored automatically.
I'm moving to Oklahoma from another state. What happens to my account?
If you relocate to Oklahoma, Social Casino will be restricted in accordance with Oklahoma SB1589. You will still be able to use Ripping Packs, and your account and data will remain safely stored.
Is this permanent?
This restriction is a direct result of current Oklahoma state law (SB1589, effective November 1, 2026). Should the law be amended or repealed in the future, we will review the situation and communicate any changes to affected users.
