The Seis card is not a prepaid card. It’s a debit card linked to a bank account (checking account) in your name.
With the Seis debit card:
Your money is deposited directly into your bank account.
If you lose the card, your money stays safe in your account.
Your funds are FDIC insured up to $3,000,000.
You can add money through:
Cash
Checks
Bank transfers
Direct deposit, among other methods
A prepaid card works differently:
It isn’t linked to a bank account.
Money is loaded directly onto the card.
If you lose the card, you could lose the balance.
It doesn’t have FDIC insurance.
It usually can only be reloaded with cash or reload packs.
