With Custom Audio, you can select the exact moment in your track that will be used in your campaign creatives.

This feature lets you choose the specific timestamp where your snippet should begin. This ensures your ads start at the most engaging part of the song.


Why Custom Audio matters

The first few seconds of an ad are critical. Starting your campaign with the right part of the song can significantly improve engagement.

Custom Audio allows you to:

  • Highlight the best part of your track

  • Start your campaign at the hook, drop, or chorus

  • Ensure your audio matches the energy of the creative

This gives you more control over how your music is introduced to listeners.


How to use Custom Audio

  1. Start creating a new campaign

  2. Go to the Sound Selection step

  3. Choose Custom Audio

  4. Enter the timestamp where you want the snippet to start

  5. Preview the snippet to make sure it begins at the right moment

  6. Continue building your campaign

Your selected snippet will be used across the creatives generated for the campaign.


Snippet length

Currently, custom snippets are limited to 15 seconds.

This length is optimized for short-form platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, where short, engaging audio clips perform best.


Tips for choosing the best timestamp

When selecting your snippet, consider starting at:

  • The chorus

  • A beat drop

  • A strong vocal moment

  • A section that immediately captures attention

Avoid long intros or slow sections that may reduce engagement in the first few seconds.


Uploading your own audio (optional)

If you prefer to use your own audio file instead of the default preview, you can upload a custom MP3.

After uploading, you can select the timestamp the same way and generate a snippet from your uploaded file.

  • The selected audio will be used across campaign creatives

  • You can preview the snippet before publishing your campaign
