Settings
1. Key Types
Overview
The Key Types section in Skillko is used to add, modify or archive keys. These keys represent physical keys an individual uses to access specific equipment, facilities or control areas.
Keys can be assigned directly on a user’s profile.
Add Key Type
a. Open the navigation on the left and click Account Settings, Data Management, Key Types
b. Click on New Key button
c. Complete the Key Type, Description & Status
d. Click Save
Archive Key Type
a. Open the navigation on the left and click Account Settings, Data Management, Key Types
b. Click on the Edit button next to the relevant key
c. Change the Status dropdown to Archive
d. Click Save
2. Authorisation Areas
Overview
Required to be set up prior to adding authorisation areas to a user’s profile.
Authorisation Area = DNO Region/Network License Area, this maps to geographical electricity distribution region where the worker is authorized to operate.
a. Open the navigation on the left and click Account Settings, Data Management, Authorisation Areas
b. Add or Edit Authorisation Areas
3. Locations
Overview
Required to be set up prior to adding locations to a user’s profile
Location = This is the specific depot, site, city, or operational base where the worker is assigned.
a. Open the navigation on the left and click Account Settings, Data Management, Locations
b. Add or Edit Locations
4. Departments
Overview
Required to be set up prior to adding departments to a user’s profile.
Department = This corresponds to the worker’s functional team inside the DNO.
a. Open the navigation on the left and click Account Settings, Data Management, Departments
b. Add or Edit Departments
5. Certificate Templates
Overview
The certificate template is used to determine an Authorisation Certificate on a user’s profile. Please refer to the Authorisation section on the workflow.
a. Click the 9 dots on the top left hand corner & click Trainer, a new tab will open
b. Open the navigation on the left and click Account Settings, Certificate Templates c. Select the Authorisation Certificate (not pictured in the selection as it’s already in use)
d. Name the template, Assign the Grouping, Sorting and Expiry Basis
*Note: Updating Profile Authorisation Certificate Settings can also be located in the Account Settings section
