Q: If there are overdue Email Tasks before I activate a Journey, when will they be sent out?

As soon as you activate the Journey!

Q: What are Program Types?

These are options to categorize the Program you're building. The difference is that when offboarding vs. onboarding, the messaging is different. i.e. instead of start date, it's end date, etc.

Q: If I make an update to a Program, will it update the Journeys using that Program?

If it’s a new task, yes, and you have the option of selecting which Journeys to cascade the updates to. If you’re just editing a task, then it will not update.

Q: Do new hires still have access to a Journey and everything they’ve worked on, once a Journey is completed?
If a boardee has completed their journey, they will still be able to see any tasks that were assigned to them as boardee through the My Tasks screen.

Q: If a task lands on a weekend, what will happen?
The task will automatically be pushed to the closest weekday.

Q: What happens if an auto-drafted Journey was supposed to activate before it was drafted?
It’ll automatically activate at 12:01am.

Q: Who receives the new team member welcome email?
Super Admins.

Q: If I archive someone in Aboard, does that remove their access?
Yes! As long as you archive them, they’ll no longer have access to Aboard.

Q: Does Aboard support Okta SSO login?
We use Auth0 (owned by Okta) which allows users to login via Google or Passwordless. We can support Okta SSO login, but it would be an additional charge.

Q: Do you have a template for comms to introduce Aboard to the company?
Yes! See here.

Q: We have a new hire starting soon, and we'd like them to be the first to run through Aboard. Can we bypass steps they have already done in Sora so no work is duplicated for them?
We can either delete them when we draft the Journey or simply mark the tasks as Won't Do.
