How to add team members to Aboard

How it works

To get your team into Aboard quickly, you can bulk upload all current team members with a .csv file.

Setup

Before starting, you’ll need to export a list of your employees from your current HRIS. Here’s how to do it for Humi, Rippling, HiBob, TriNet.

Step By Step

  1. Go to the People screen

  2. Click + Add People

  3. Click the Bulk Import tab

  4. Click Upload to find .csv file of team members

  5. Click Add


Access Levels

Super Admin:

Super Admins can see and do everything in the platform.

Admins:

  • Cannot see Organization Settings

  • Do not receive auto-drafted Journey notifications (HRIS integration required)

  • Do not receive an explicit email invitation to join the Aboard platform (but they have access)

Members:

Members can only view the Tasks, People, Resources and Settings pages

Manually adding a User

You can add users with their Personal Email. Simply input their email, select their Access Level, and click Add. Once their Work Email has been created, come back into Aboard and add it to their profile! Users will be able to login with whatever email is in the Work Email field.

FAQ

  1. Q: If I set the Access Level in the .csv, does it override the option I can select in Aboard?

    1. Yes, the Access Level will be set by what is in the .csv file.

  2. What happens if I’m adding someone who’s already in Aboard?

    1. They will not be re-added because they’re already in there!
