What is a Boardee?
An individual being onboarded onto something. This could be a new hire being onboarded, a current employee being offboarded, a returning employee being reboarded, or perhaps a current employee transitioning roles within a company being inboarded.

What is a Boarder?
An individual tasked with something to support the onboarding experience of the Boardee.

What is a Journey?
A Journey is what a Boardee embarks on. It starts with onboarding, but goes much further. Once a new team member signs their accepts their job offer, their Journey has begun!

What is a Program?
A Program is a template you use to set up Journeys.

What is Onboarding?
Assisting and supporting a new employee in developing the skills, knowledge, attitudes, comfort, etc., needed to be successful in their role.

What is Offboarding?
Interacting and exchanging information with a departing employee so as to ensure a smooth transition, protect company assets, etc.

What is Reboarding?
Sharing and supporting new material, policies, procedures, etc. for returning employees after a leave of absence, maternity leave, global pandemic, etc.

What is Inboarding?
Assisting and supporting an existing employee transitioning to a new role in developing the skills, knowledge, attitudes, etc., needed to be successful in the job.
