Aboard’s integration with Lever allows teams to do more with less. As soon as candidates are marked as hired within Lever, they'll be automatically added into Aboard and their new employee journey will be automatically drafted, and activated.

How it Works

Lever and Aboard sync with each other every 1 hour. Users can also manually every 30 mins after the most recent sync. As soon as a new user is marked as Hired in Lever, that user is auto-added to Aboard (as a Member) along with the following information:

  • First Name, Last Name, Personal Email

  • Work Email, Job Title, Manager Name, Location, Department

Aboard then creates a Draft Journey and includes any Default Programs, then notifies all Super Admin via email and/or Slack that there’s a newly drafted Journey.

Setup

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrations:


2. Find the Lever logo and hit Connect:


3. A modal will appear with a list of the permissions Aboard needs access to:


4. Choose I want to authenticate through Lever's Website. and then click Next


5. Choose Lever Production Account and click Submit


6. Click Open Window and you’ll be brought to an authorization consent screen


7. Click Accept.


8. Click Continue


9. In this screen you’ll see what data Aboard has access to, Click Skip for Later


10. Click Finish


11. Once integrated, the first sync will be an "up to date" operation where Aboard will catch up with the hired employees and import them into the system. After the initial sync, the autodraft feature will function normally.

FAQ

Q: What data gets sync’d to Aboard?
First Name, Last Name, Preferred Name, Personal Email, Work Email, Title, Manager, Department, Start Date, Location, Birth Date

Q: What happens when I sync employee data from Lever?
All employees with an Active status in Lever are added to Aboard as Members.

Q: Once I've integrated Lever, will the users get any notification?
They will not.

Q: What happens if we change the status of a user in Lever to terminated?
Aboard will automatically archive the user.

Q: Can I update synced employee data in Aboard?
No. The data you've synced from Lever into Aboard will only be editable in Lever.

Q: What happens to the data in Aboard if I disconnect Lever?
The data will stay in Aboard and will now be editable (in Aboard).

Q: When we first integrate with Lever, what access level do users get in Aboard?
All users will receive Member level access.
