🔐 The manual password reset feature allows administrators to fully control the password recovery process for learners.
By default, when this feature is disabled, learners can:
change their password in their profile;
recover their password via the login page.
If administrators enable the manual password reset feature, learners will no longer be able to:
reset their password;
create a new password;
use the “Forgot password?” option on the login page.
In this case, only administrators will be able to reset learner passwords.
How to Enable Manual Password Reset
To allow administrators to manually reset learner passwords, you need to enable the corresponding option in the Security Center:
Once this setting is activated, learners will lose the ability to recover their passwords.
How an Administrator Can Reset a Learner’s Password
To manually reset a learner’s password:
Open the learner’s profile.
Click the Recover Password button.
After that, the system will automatically generate a temporary password – a random combination of letters, numbers, and symbols:
The administrator then needs to copy the generated password and send it to the learner so they can log in to their account.
The learner can then use this password to sign in to the platform.
