🔐 The Disable Profile Editing feature allows administrators to restrict learners’ access to their account settings and profile management.
By default, when this feature is disabled, learners can independently:
change their name and other profile information;
deactivate their account;
restrict personal data processing;
delete their account;
export personal data;
manage email notifications.
If an administrator enables the Disable Profile Editing for Learners feature, learners will no longer be able to:
edit their name or profile information;
access the Security section;
deactivate or delete their account;
export personal data;
manage personal data or email notification settings.
In this case, only platform administrators will be able to manage profile and account settings.
How to Disable Profile Editing for Learners
To prevent learners from editing their profiles, enable the corresponding setting in the Security Center:
Once the feature is activated, learners will lose access to profile editing and several account settings.
How It Works for Learners
After enabling this setting, the learner will no longer be able to edit their profile information and will no longer see any of the options listed above in their account:
