Sometimes situations arise where a certificate needs to be issued manually — for example, if the training was completed outside the platform, the course was only partially completed, or the certificate needs to be granted individually. In such cases, an administrator can manually issue a certificate without requiring the course to be automatically completed.

How to Issue a Certificate Manually 🔍

On the platform, certificates can be issued either to a specific learner or to a team of learners. To do this, go to the Statistics section and open Awards → Certificates:

Below the total number of issued certificates, click the “Issue Certificate” button:

📌 Please note: Only administrators with the Admin or Owner role can issue certificates.

After clicking the button, a window will appear where you can select:

  • The course for which the certificate should be issued

  • The certificate issue date

  • A field to select teams or specific learners who should receive the certificate

📌 Please note: This functionality is available as an additional paid module. To enable it or receive more details, please contact our support team.

Issuing Certificates to Teams 📜

If you need to issue certificates to specific teams for a particular course, select the course and the certificate issue date, then choose the required teams from the dropdown list:

In this case, leave the “Issue to learners” field empty. After that, click “Issue Certificate”:

You will then need to confirm your action by clicking “Issue Certificate”:

Once confirmed, the certificates will be generated and added to all members of the selected teams.

🚀 The generation process may take from a few hours to several days, depending on the system load. You will also see a pop-up notification informing you that the certificate generation process has started:

Issuing Certificates to Specific Learner(s) 🏆

If you need to issue certificates to specific learners for a particular course, select the course and the certificate issue date, then enter the learners’ email addresses in the “Issue to learners” field:

In this case, leave the “Issue to teams” field empty. After that, click “Issue Certificate” and confirm your action:

The certificates will then be generated and added to all selected learners:

Certificates issued manually will appear in the learner’s profile and in the statistics section, just like certificates that are issued automatically after completing a course:
