If you wish to provide an opportunity for learners who are not registered in your academies to preview a portion of your course material for familiarization and engagement, you can create a teaser.
To set up a teaser, open the Courses page via https://app.academyocean.com/account/courses and select the course for which you want to create it. Then, activate the Teaser option. It's important to note that you can create a teaser for each course individually.
After activating the teaser, select the number of lessons that will be available to learners in Guest mode on the right-hand side. On the left, you'll find a link to the teaser, which can be sent to learners for them to preview the open portion of the material.
This is how a learner who is not registered in the Academy will see it. In the top right corner, you'll see that they have entered Guest mode. On the left, they will see the structure and plan of the course, but they will only be able to view the number of lessons you have opened.
After they attempt to proceed to the next (closed) lesson by clicking the “Next” button, they will see a pop-up window prompting them to enter their email address.
Once they enter their email, you will receive a notification that the learner wishes to register in your Academy.
