There are two types of academies – public and private.
By default, all academies are public, which means that any user can sign up on the login page using their email address and password 🔐
To make an academy private, go to the Academies page: https://app.academyocean.com/account/academies
In a Private Academy, only learners who have been invited in advance can register.
Users who haven’t received an invitation can send a request for access to the academy.
The administrator can approve or decline a request on the “Access Requests” page under “Manage Learners & Teams” section.
On the “Notification Settings” page, administrators can enable notifications for new access requests.

If a request is approved, the learner gains access to the Private Academy 🙌
