How Do I Get Started With Material Hub?

Onboarding

Acelab's team has developed a low-effort onboarding process broken down into 3 steps to ease the burden on your team. Please review our step-by-step guide (link here), but here are the highlights

Step 1: Hand-Off

In the first stage, our team will ask for 3-5 historical projects from your team. The goal of this step is to look through your project material history and identify which ones will be a good baseline to build your firm standards from.

Step 2: Library Build Out

Our team will take this project history and begin auditing the information in great depth. We do this to identify all the building product selections that you have made across multiple projects. We will then take all of this raw data and begin uploading this into your digital firm library.

Upon successful completion of this, we will review this with your team, and discuss how you'd like for your staff to access this information. We will plan on a clear library structure, build out a template, and then ask you to review and add judgements to the materials

Step 3: Project Setup & Templating

Once we have started the library process and are moving along smoothly, we will meet once again and start reviewing how you'd like to setup a project. We'll discuss items such as key categories you'll require to track decisions, typical formats for exporting documents, and build out a "Standard Operating Procedure" for your firm, when it comes to material selection.
