How do I make sure I’m booking my Casper test in the correct admissions cycle?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Reserving in the right admissions cycle is essential, scores are valid only for that cycle and fees are non-refundable if the wrong cycle is chosen. Follow these steps:

  1. Confirm your admissions cycle

  • The cycle matches the year you plan to start your program

    • Example: Applying for Fall 2027 → use 2026–2027 cycle

  • Check your program’s official admissions site

    • Some programs (mid-year starts, international) may have exceptions

2. Verify test dates on Dates and Fees

  • Go to the Dates and Fees page in your account

  • Look for:

    • Available test dates

    • Score distribution deadlines

    • Admission cycle

  • ✅ Make sure the dates match the cycle you need before reserving.

3. Check test type and student/application ID requirements

  • Confirm you’ve selected the correct test type for your program

  • Check any ID-specific requirements

4. Only reserve when you’re certain

  • Ensure all of the following:
    ✔ Correct admissions cycle
    ✔ Correct test type
✔ Program appears for that cycle

5. Still unsure? Confirm with your program

  • Visit your program’s official admissions website to confirm deadlines and any special requirements.
