You can reserve a Video Interview by selecting an available time slot through the platform, and you may need to update or cancel your booking if your plans change. This section also explains how cancellations work, when refunds may apply, and how timing can affect your eligibility.
How to reserve a Video Interview
You can book a Video Interview directly through the platform.
Video Interviews can be booked up to 2 hours before the assessment start time
Select an available time slot for your assessment
Complete the booking steps in the platform
If your program covers the assessment cost, payment steps are automatically skipped and the booking is confirmed without a transaction.
Once your reservation is complete, your assessment will appear on your dashboard.
You will be able to:
View your assessment window and start button in your local time zone
Complete ID verification in advance using Onfido or at the start of your assessment window
Canceling your Video Interview
You may cancel their Video Interview by submitting a request through the platform.
You may request a refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time
Refunds are not available within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.
All refund requests are processed directly on the platform.
You can submit a refund request by selecting the “Request a Refund” button located under your reservation. If your reservation fees were covered by your program, this option will not be available and only the “Cancel” button will be displayed.
If you miss your scheduled Video Interview without canceling or requesting a refund in advance, you will need to reserve a new assessment, if there are still available slots.
If Acuity Insights cancels an assessment due to a verified technical issue, a full refund is issued automatically.
Cancelled or refunded assessments remain visible in your dashboard and are labelled with the appropriate status for transparency and record-keeping.
