If you’ve been approved for a U.S.-based Fee Assistance Program (FAP), Acuity Insights may apply that assistance to your Casper exam fees, but only for specific exam categories and programs.
Which Fee Assistance Programs are accepted?
Acuity Insights honours the following U.S.-based Fee Assistance Programs (FAP):
For U.S. Medicine exams:
AAMC/AMCAS FAP
AACOMAS FAP
Texas JAMP
Texas Early Assurance
For U.S. Professional Health Sciences exams:
NursingCAS FAP – only for Hofstra University – Northwell School of Graduate Nursing
CASPA FAP – only for U.S. Physician Assistant programs
ADEA FAP – only for U.S. Dentistry programs
How to apply your FAP when reserving or adding a program
When you reserve a Casper test or add a program, you’ll be asked to confirm if you have FAP approval. A checkbox will appear at:
Step 6 when reserving a test
Step 3 when adding a program
Select the checkbox only if you’ve been approved for one of the accepted FAPs.
You must upload proof of your FAP approval at this step.
Required FAP Documentation
To verify your fee assistance, your uploaded document must clearly show:
Your full name, email, or ID number (e.g., AAMC ID, AACOMAS ID)
The valid date range of your FAP approval
This can be a screenshot or a forwarded approval email from your FAP provider.
⚠️ If you forgot to apply your FAP
If you already reserved your test or added a program but didn’t indicate your FAP:
Send your proof of FAP approval via the chat bubble on our website
or
Email: support@acuityinsights.app
If your document cannot be verified, you may receive an invoice for the unpaid balance, which could delay your result distribution.
