Fee Assistance Programs

Reserving Acuity Insights Assessments or adding programs when you have FAP approval (AAMC/AMCAS FAP, AACOMAS FAP, etc.)

Updated over a week ago

Acuity Insights honors several Fee Assistance Programs (FAP) that are applicable to US tests and programs.

The US-based Fee Assistance Programs that are currently honored by Acuity Insights are:

  • US Medicine tests: AAMC/AMCAS FAP, AACOMAS FAP, Texas JAMP, or Texas Early Assurance

  • US Professional Health Sciences tests:

    • NursingCAS (only for Hofstra University - Northwell School of Graduate Nursing)

    • CASPA FAP (only for US Physician Assistant programs)

If you have been approved for a US-based Fee Assistance Program that is honored by Acuity Insights, you will have the option to indicate this via a checkbox when reserving your test or adding a program to your distribution list.

This checkbox will appear at the Reservation Summary (Step 6 when reserving a test, or Step 3 when adding a program), after you have selected the programs you want to distribute your Acuity Insights results to and before you proceed to the payment section.

You will be required to upload evidence of your FAP status at the time of reservation or adding programs to your distribution list.

Please ensure that you only mark that checkbox if you have been approved for one of the eligible FAPs, as if we are unable to verify the document you have uploaded, you may receive an invoice for the outstanding balance on your account, which may cause issues with result distribution.

If you forgot to indicate your FAP approval when reserving your test or adding a program, please provide proof of your FAP status via the chat bubble or by emailing support@acuityinsights.app. This proof of FAP status can consist of either a screenshot or forwarded email of your approval from the individual FAP.

For your account to be verified, please ensure that your proof of FAP status clearly displays the following:

  • Personal identifying information such as your name, email, or ID number (AAMC ID, AACOMAS ID, etc.)

  • The date range the FAP covers

We will review your documents and guide you through next steps once your FAP proof has been verified.
