Why Do I Need to Take a Different Casper Exam for Each Country?

Applying to Schools in Multiple Countries: What You Need to Know

Updated this week

If you’re applying to programs in more than one country, you’ll need to reserve separate Casper exams for each country.

That’s because each country has its own Casper exam category designed specifically for its programs. You are evaluated against a pool of applicants who are applying to programs in the same country. Those applicants are rated by a pool of raters from that same country.

This ensures that you are reliably compared to an appropriate applicant pool for the programs you are applying to within the same country.

❗Important: Test results are not transferable between countries

You cannot send results from one country's exam to a program in another country. If you apply to programs in two or more countries, you will need to take an exam for each country.

What should I do?

  1. Check the Casper exam type required for each program you're applying to.

  2. Go to the Dates and Fees page to find available test dates for each country.

  3. Reserve the correct Casper exam for each country.
