Each ad in the system is assigned an age rating, this is necessary to:

  • help advertisers find target audiences;

  • generate advertising results based on publisher requests.

Types of rating:

  • PG (Parental Guidance) – ads that are suitable for viewing by people of all ages, including children under parental supervision. This label includes relevant ads of discreet content that do not contain photoshop.

  • R (Restricted) – ads that are suitable for viewing by people aged 17+. Colloquial expressions, slang, made-up stories, photoshop, and exposed body parts are acceptable.

  • NC17 (No one 17 and under admitted) – ads that contain moderate shock content, without intimidation.

  • NSFW (Not Safe For Web) – this rating includes ads with “adult” topic. It is possible to use images and titles in a sexual manner without explicit pornography.

How is the rating assigned?

The rating is assigned by a moderator. All parts of the ad affect ad rating: both the headline and the image.
