Use cases
Create headlines & Texts without the need for assets
Create CTA's without the use of assets
Example
This demo gives you an idea of what the typo module can achieve. Furthermore, other modules that use the typo module will allow you to include the use of variables (from .csv files for example) - to make the contents even more dynamic.
As with all examples, you can request us to copy them over to your company so you can look at how they are built in detail.
Text
Write your text inside the textfield. You can use new lines (hit the Enter-Key as usual) and we also support 3 different markup syntaxes so you can highlight words or paragraphs:
*text* = Cursive
**text** = Bold
***text*** = Bold & Cursive
Font
The first dropdown will let you select from one of the many font families we offer out of the box. If you have a custom font - Just upload it to the editor and you'll find it inside this dropdown automatically. We support .ttf,
In the second dropdown you can select the style (Regular, bold, etc.) that the font offers and right next to it is the field with which you can select the font color in RGBA.
Next is the text size. You can change this between "vw" for responsive sizing and "px" for static sizing in the dropdown next to it
Lastly, we have two fields - One for horizontal spacing between letters and one for vertical spacing between lines.
Decoration
The next set of settings allows you to decorate your text with underlines, strike-throughs & line-overs.
After that, you can set if you want to keep the letter case as you typed it or if you want everything to be in small/big caps.
The Background color setting lets you set up a background color to fill the whole area module behind the text with.
Typer effect
The typer effect will type out the text you entered letter for letter or based on words (if you activate the toggle for it) once it's visible.
This is a nice visual effect and makes your text more dynamic.
With the slider below the toggles, you can customize the speed with which this effect will play out.
Text position
The text position options will let you align the text to the left/center/right or equally spread across lines.
Also, you can let the text start at the start/middle/end of the module area on the vertical axis.
Border settings
The border settings let you put a border around the whole typo module. Using this + background color settings lets you create a CTA without an asset easily.
You can select a border style from the dropdown, a width in px and a color after it.
Enabling the "Advanced border settings" toggle lets you set up these settings for all 4 sides of your typo (top, right, bottom, left) separately.
Properties & Clickout
As for the Background module, the typo module allows you to change different properties like the border radius seperately in the "Properties" tab.
Also, you can set up a clickout link for the typo module as usual.
