Experience seamless navigation and interactive storytelling with the Slider Module, a versatile tool designed to enhance user engagement within your ad. Whether used independently or in conjunction with a gallery, this module empowers users to effortlessly slide through content with a slider interface. With intuitive controls, users can explore a gallery's contents at their own pace or interact with the slider to trigger events at specific points. From showcasing decisions to serving as a simple interaction trigger, the Slider Module offers endless possibilities for engaging your audience and guiding them through dynamic experiences.

Use cases

  • Cause user interaction through decision making

  • Let the user move through gallery content intuitively

  • Act as a simple switch for the user to activate

Example

This simple example shows how you can create a fake 3d effect with an image sequence and link a slider module to it to control it. Of course, image sequences can also play automatically, but this is a nice way of bringing some interaction possibilities to your users!

As with all examples, you can request us to copy them over to your company so you can look at how they are built in detail.

Slider direction

You can choose to have either a horizontal or vertical slider.

Linked module

Here you can link a gallery module to be controlled through the slider. When a user moves gallery slides through the gallery or uses autoplay, the slider will adapt to these changes as well.

Initial slider position

You can choose one of three initial slider positions when no gallery is being linked: Left, Center or Right.

Initial animation

You can toggle the initial animation, which shows that the slider is an element that can be moved.

Lock slider

The Lock slider option will lock the slider as soon as a user has released the slider thumb, so the position can't be changed a second time.

Slider bar & thumb

You upload an asset for the slider bar here - responsiveness options will appear once an asset is inside the module.

The slider bar padding is used to make sure that the slider thumb moves inside the confines of your slider bar asset.

You can upload the slider thumb asset below the slider bar padding.

Properties & Clickout

As for the Background module, the Slider module allows you to change different properties like the opacity seperately in the "Properties" tab.

Also, you can set up a clickout link for the Slider module as usual.

Interactions

The Slider offers all standard triggers & actions that the Background module offers as well. Furthermore, the Slider module offers:

Triggers

  • Slider user slide = Triggers whenever a user used the slider module

  • Slider user slide (once) = Triggers once whenever a user interacted with the slider module (quality engagement!)

  • Slider released 0-50% = Triggers when the slider thumb has been released on the left side of the slider

  • Slider released 50-100% = Triggers when the slider thumb has been released on the right side of the slider

  • Slider drag to the start = Triggers when the slider thumb is dragged in the direction of the start (left or top)

  • Slider drag to the end = Triggers when the slider thumb is dragged in the direction of the end (right or bottom)

  • Slider drag in the range = Triggers when the slider is being dragged in a specific range that you can customize

  • Slider released in the range = Triggers when the slider is being released in a specific range that you can customize

Actions for other modules

The Slider module offers no specific actions to be triggered through other modules.
