This article will talk you through how to merge patient records together within Aesthetic Nurse Software.
You may gain duplicate records if a patient books in online and enters different information than what you have stored within the software for the patient. The software will match patients via their name, phone number and email address if any of this information is different then a new record will be created.
To learn how to merge your patient records within ANS, watch our short video. Alternatively, follow our steps below.
Step 1 :
From the main menu click to enter the patient record area.
Step 2 :
You will then find your list of active patients current stored within the software.
In this section you are able to search for the patient.
Step 3 :
Once searched, all patients with this name will show.
Step 4 :
You will then need to head into the record you no longer wish to have within the software. This could be the patient record with the incorrect details, a spelling mistake or the one with the least amount of information within.
Step 5 :
Once happy with the record, you will need to select the merge button within the record.
Step 6 :
Then on the merge screen you will need to search to find the patient record you would like to merge this one into. You can find this by searching the patients name.
Step 7 :
You can then check the merge where it will show you all the data which is about to be entered into the other record. If happy with the information, click to confirm the merge.
Step 8 :
This will then move all of the appointments, photos, notes, prescriptions and retail products into the one record, deactivating the other record from your account.
You can always reactivate a patient record if you need this again in the future.
