This article will talk you through how to connect to Klarna to begin offering flexible payments options to your patients through Aesthetic Nurse Software.

Before getting started
Please ensure you have an active Stripe account connected to ANS.
To create or connect a Stripe account, follow these steps:
1. In ANS, head to Settings
2. Click "Take Payments" (under the heading Online Bookings)
3. Then click "Connect to Stripe"
Please note; All Clearpay payments are subject to 6.19% + 30p transaction fee.
Setting up Clearpay
Step 1:
From the main menu, head to Settings.
Step 2:
Once in Settings, locate the "Integrations" section and click the Clearpay icon.
You will be asked to add-on the Integrations bundle if you have not already purchased.
Step 3:
Next, click the toggle ON to 'Enable Clearpay Payments'
This toggle allows you to decide whether to offer Clearpay as a payment option on your online booking page.
If this is toggled OFF, you can still take Clearpay payments in-clinic via the Invoice screen.
Step 4:
Once enabled, the option to pay with Clearpay will be added to your online booking page.
Step 5:
If the patient choses to pay with Clearpay, this will request full payment for the treatment. This cost pulls from the price added to the treatment within settings regardless of the deposit amount set.
The patient will be able to spread the cost of the treatment over 4 interest free instalments.
Step 6:
Once payment is completed, this will be displayed in multiple areas of the software:
- Within settings, under the heading integrations, select ‘Clearpay’
Step 7:
On the diary the payment will also be itemised on the appointment notes
- The payment is also visible on the appointment invoice.
- All Clearpay payments will be paid out to you alongside any deposit payments. The payments will be managed between the patient and Clearpay.
- There is a fee of 6.19% +30p.
- To refund Clearpay payments, this can be processed within the payments list within settings > payments (under the heading ‘Archived’)
- To refund any Clearpay payments, select the refund button next to the relevant transaction.
- This action will refund the full payment back to the customer, the paid transaction fee will not be refunded back to you .
