This month's update covers two important points regarding Coal Mine Worker's Health Scheme medicals and using ResHealth.

ID Documents: Resources Safety & Health Queensland (RSHQ) have recently reviewed and sent reminders regarding the handling of identification documents in ResHealth. Please note that no ID documents are to be uploaded into the ResHealth system. It is crucial that all ID documents are verified; however, they must not be uploaded. This step is essential to ensure compliance with the RSHQ guidelines and to maintain the security and integrity of the ResHealth system.
Chest X-Rays: When completing a Coal Mine Workers' Health Scheme (CMWHS) medical for KINNECT, there are two specific steps that we request you follow:
i) Please always ensure that you select "Yes" to confirm that the Chest X-Ray (CXR) is being completed, KINNECT will handle this booking.
ii) Additionally, you must also select "Yes" to indicate that the Authorised Medical Adviser (AMA) will be uploading the Chest X-Ray Results.
We appreciate you help in ensuring these two questions are answered correctly to help streamline the process, ensuring that all necessary medical information is accurately recorded and accessible. Failure to correctly follow these procedures will result in the need to send the medical examination back for correction and resubmission by the examining medical officer (EMO). This not only delays the process but also increases the workload for all parties involved.
