Our medical practitioners oversee the work conducted by clinicians and nurses for, or on behalf of, KINNECT. They have the authority to approve or request further investigations or reviews when necessary. This clinical governance ensures that our treating nurses, clinicians, doctors, and contracted service providers maintain high standards of practice and provide dependable outcomes.

You can support this by ensuring that all medical paperwork is thorough and any insights or recommendations are clearly noted. This allows KINNECT's doctors to follow up on your findings and make a robust determination regarding the examinee's status.

The process for further evaluations depends on the specific needs of the company requesting the medical assessment and the individual case circumstances. Therefore, KINNECT requires the authority to proceed with further assessments to rest with KINNECT's doctors. If you identify a specific need during your examination, please include it in your advice to KINNECT. We value your input and will incorporate your recommendations when assessing the case's specific needs. However, please note that any tests performed without prior approval from KINNECT (e.g., an ECG or diabetes management plan) will be at your own cost unless you have an agreement with the examinee.

In cases where legislative requirements necessitate the examining doctor to provide a formal determination based on their direct sensory capacity, you will be informed of this need during the booking referral process. Even in these cases, KINNECT provides clinical governance and oversight of your assessment and will offer feedback if necessary.
