If you build product pages with GemPages, you can still use AI Frame. Keep the app embed on, then place the Virtual Try-On block where you want the overlay. Size Chart and Sizing assist are separate — they are not a combined “Try-on & Size Chart” button.
Before you start
Make sure AI Frame is installed and its app embed is enabled on your theme. The embed is what runs Try On, Size Chart, and Sizing assist. See How to Install AI Frame's Virtual Try-On & Size Chart on Your Store.
Step 1: Open your product page in GemPages
In your Shopify admin, open the GemPages app.
Select a product page template.
Open that template in the GemPages editor.
Step 2: Add a Shopify app block and publish
Go to “Integrated with all apps” and drag a Shopify app block onto the product media area — that's where the Try On pill should sit, on the first product image.
Click Publish in the top right.
Step 3: Open the Shopify editor from GemPages
Click the Shopify app block you added.
On the left, you'll see a setup panel with Open Shopify editor.
Click Open Shopify editor.
Step 4: Add the AI Frame block inside the app section
The AI Frame block goes inside the Shopify app section, not as a separate block.
In the Shopify theme editor, find the Shopify app block on your product template.
2. On the left, click the block (section) from the Shopify app.
3. Inside that section, click Add block. The AI Frame block must be added within this section.
4. Click Apps.
5. Choose Virtual Try-On under AI Frame – Virtual Try-On to add it inside the block. That overlay is the Try On pill on the product image.
6. Click Save in the top right.
Check it worked
Preview a product page. Confirm Try On sits on the first product image. Confirm Size Chart next to the Size option if a published chart is assigned. If Size Recommender is on, confirm Help us find your size / Estimate my size above Add to cart. Those last two come from the app embed (or the Size Chart link and Sizing assist blocks) — not from the GemPages overlay.
