AI Frame sends Virtual Try-On activity to your Klaviyo account. You can build segments and email flows from those events, for example a reminder to shoppers who tried something on but did not buy.
Before you start
AI Frame installed on your Shopify store.
A Growth plan or higher (or ask us if you need a temporary unlock for a pilot).
A Klaviyo account for that store.
In AI Frame, open Integrations in the left menu.
Steps: connect from AI Frame
In Shopify admin, open Apps → AI Frame – Virtual Try-On.
Click Integrations.
On the Klaviyo card, click Connect Klaviyo.
Approve access in Klaviyo when asked.
You return to Integrations. The card should show Connected, with connected date and last event sent.
Steps: connect from Klaviyo (store domain)
If you start from Klaviyo’s marketplace or listing:
Open the AI Frame connect page when prompted.
Enter your store domain, for example
my-store.myshopify.com.Continue and approve access in Klaviyo.
Confirm Connected under Integrations in the AI Frame app.
AI Frame must already be installed on that store, and the store must be on Growth or higher.
What we send
These metric names appear in Klaviyo when events fire:
Generated Try-On Image — a try-on render succeeds
Shared Try-On Image — the shopper shares a try-on result
Favorited Try-On Image — the shopper favorites a result
Saved Try-On For Outfit — the shopper saves a result for an outfit
Added To Cart After Try-On — the shopper adds to cart from try-on
Purchased After Try-On — an order matches a prior try-on for that shopper
Typical properties include product id, product title, category, and store domain. Shares can include share method. Purchases can include order id, total, and currency.
We do not send shopper photos, render image URLs, or body measurements.
Check that it works
On your storefront, while logged in as a Shopify customer, complete a try-on on a product.
In Klaviyo, open Analytics → Metrics (or search Metrics).
Look for Generated Try-On Image.
Open a profile for that customer and confirm the event on their activity timeline.
In AI Frame → Integrations, confirm Last event sent updates.
Ideas for flows
Tried on but did not buy
Create a flow with metric trigger Generated Try-On Image.
Add a filter: has not done Purchased After Try-On in the last 1 day (or since starting the flow).
Wait 1 day (or a few hours).
Send a short email with a link back to the product.
Exit the flow if Purchased After Try-On happens.
Added to cart after try-on but did not order
Trigger: Added To Cart After Try-On.
Filter: has not placed an order / has not done Purchased After Try-On within 1 day.
Wait, then send a cart reminder.
Exit on purchase.
Disconnect
Open Integrations in AI Frame.
Click Disconnect Klaviyo.
Confirm. AI Frame stops sending events. You can connect again later.
Good to know
Events attach to a Klaviyo profile only when the shopper is a logged-in Shopify customer (we have their email). Guest try-ons can still appear under Metrics, but they cannot drive email flows.
Purchased After Try-On needs the shopper to have been logged in at try-on time so we can match them.
AI Frame never asks shoppers for an email for Klaviyo. We only use identifiers Shopify already has.
Integrations (Klaviyo) is on Growth and above.
