You can connect your AirDNA account to an AI assistant like Claude, then just ask it questions about your listings in plain English. Things like "how am I pacing compared to last year?" or "which open nights in the next two weeks should I drop the price on?" The assistant looks up your real Adapt data to answer, and it can make changes for you too, like adding a pricing rule.
This works through something called the AirDNA MCP server. MCP is just the standard way AI assistants plug into other apps. You don't need to know how it works under the hood, you only need to connect it once.
This is in beta. It works today, but it's new and we're adding to it. If something looks off, tell the assistant to send us feedback (more on that below). The full technical docs live at mcp.airdna.co/docs.
Connecting Claude
These steps are for Claude on the web or the desktop app.
In Claude, go to Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector.
For the server URL, enter https://mcp.airdna.co
Open the advanced settings and enter this OAuth Client ID: 478a2ed7-0d70-4feb-a340-d8c96dcd4c2b
Save, then sign in with the same email and password you use for AirDNA.
To check that it worked, start a new chat and ask: "What AirDNA tools do you have?"
The Client ID isn't a secret, it's the same for everyone. It just tells Claude it's talking to AirDNA.
Using Claude Code or Codex instead? The setup commands for those are in the connection docs. Support for Cursor, VS Code, and other assistants is coming.
What you can do with it
If you use Adapt, the assistant can see and work with:
Your listings, including calendars, bookings, and current prices
Portfolio performance, like revenue, occupancy, and ADR, and how you're pacing against last year
Your pricing setup, including strategies, rules, seasons, and events. It can explain them or change them.
Comp sets, so you can see how a listing stacks up against similar properties nearby
Market context for the markets your listings are in
Any AirDNA account, even without Adapt, can also use it to search homes for sale with projected short-term rental revenue.
If you haven't connected any listings to Adapt yet, the assistant will tell you it can't find any properties. Connect a listing first and try again. See Supported Channels and PMSs.
Things to try
"Explain what my pricing setup is actually doing, in plain English."
"Show me how my portfolio is pacing compared with this point last year."
"How is my beach house doing compared to its comp set?"
"Which open nights in the next two weeks should I lower the price on?"
More examples are in the recipes section of the docs.
When it makes changes
Changes the assistant makes are real. A rule it adds shows up in Adapt the same as if you'd added it yourself.
Before it applies a strategy or pushes rates to your channel, it has to preview the change first. Read the preview before you say yes.
Pushing rates to your channel needs an active Adapt trial or subscription. See Trial and Subscription.
Deleting a season or event also deletes its rules. If you ask the assistant to remove a season or event, any pricing rules attached to it are removed too, and that can't be undone.
Sending feedback
Found a bug, a number that looks wrong, or something you wish it could do? Just tell the assistant, something like "send AirDNA feedback that...", and it will pass it straight to our team. If there was an error message, ask it to include that too.
If the tools don't show up
Disconnect the AirDNA connector in Claude's settings, then connect and sign in again. That fixes it most of the time. Still stuck? Reach out to us through chat.
