Shift Status, Shift Tags, Status Colour

Updated over 9 months ago

Shift tags represent the status and position of a shift.

On the calendar view, you can either identify a shift with its colour, or you can click on the info icon to see the tag.

Whereas on the list view, you can only identify shifts’ status and position through tags. Look for the tags in the status column.

Status Tags:

Empty: Used to identify empty shifts.

Open: Identifies the open shifts.

Awaiting Confirmation: These are assigned shifts waiting for your confirmation.

Requested: Open shifts on which a staff has applied and is waiting for approval from admin.

Active: Staff currently working on the shift.

Completed: When the staff clocks out, the status changes to “completed”. A timesheet entry is created automatically.

Approved: This means your timesheet is approved by the admin.

The below table shows you both tags and the colour associated with the tags. It will help you with both the calendar view and the list view.

Shift Tags and Colours

An open shift is a work opportunity available for all staff members. It means that anyone can apply.

Mobile: “Available Shift” Tab

It is a state when you have applied for an open shift, and you are waiting for approval from your employer.

These are assigned shifts. This means the employer is waiting for confirmation from your side.

A confirmed shift means that the employee is available and ready to work on this shift.

Mobile:

“My Shift” Tab

Your current job.

The system will mark the shift as completed when you clock out, or it will mark automatically after a predetermined amount of time if you fail to clock in. The timesheet section will also show this shift.

Your shift status will be updated to “approved”, once the agency has approved the hours you worked.

After a shift is paid, the status is shown as invoiced.

If you are still having difficulty with shift tags, feel free to contact support.
