What is Studio Pro?
Like Akada, Studio Pro (formerly DanceStudio-Pro) has been serving dance studios for more than 26 years and today is the trusted choice for more than 6,000 studios globally. Studio Pro is a modern, mobile-friendly dance studio management platform designed to simplify scheduling, billing, communication, attendance tracking, reporting, and parent engagement all in one place.
Will I eventually need to move to Studio Pro?
Yes, Akada customers will eventually move to Studio Pro. We are committed to fully supporting the Akada platform through 2027, while working closely with each studio to create a transition plan that feels seamless, well-supported, and aligned with your timeline and business needs. Our goal is to ensure you feel confident, prepared, and supported every step of the way.
How will my subscription fee change moving to Studio Pro?
Studio Pro’s Premier subscription offers all the same features as Akada. Normally, this level is $79.99/month, but Akada customers will receive the tool for $60/month, matching the rate you have today. Studio Pro also has an Elite subscription for $165/month and includes an advanced texting feature and lead management that many studios have used to successfully grow their business. You will have the opportunity to upgrade to this level if you choose.
What support will be available during the transition to Studio Pro?
During the transition to Studio Pro, you have immediate access to onboarding assistance, training sessions, migration resources, live support, and hands-on guidance from teams that understand dance studio operations. Our team will support you through setup, data migration, and implementation to help ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption. You’ll also have continued access to educational resources and ongoing support before, during, and after launch.
Will my data transfer over?
Yes. Supporting a smooth and thoughtful transition experience is a top priority, and our teams are building migration processes designed to help move important studio data securely and efficiently.
Will my payment processing change?
No immediate payment processing changes are required. Existing payment setups will continue to be supported while future options and enhancements are evaluated and communicated.
