Student Notes give you the ability to add important information* about the student that can be used for internal purposes or for the parent to be able to see from their parent account. The notes can range from behavioral to skill levels, to attendance. Anything that is important for your studio.
To add a note to the student's file:
On the student's information page click View Notes to expand the section.
Click the "+ Note" link.
Enter any information you wish.
Check the box if you wish the note to be visible to the parent.
Click the Add Note link.
Here you see an example of one student note that is visible and the other that is not visible to the parent.[/caption]
Details - Click details will allow you to see when the note was created and by which DanceWorks user. You'll also be able to see when the note was edited.
Edit - Clicking this link allows you to edit the text of the student note.
Delete - Click this to delete the note from the student record.
*While the student notes can be a great way to get information to a parent they do rely on the parent logging into their account to see them. For this reason, if the information is urgent we do not recommend using the notes feature.
** A list of student notes can be printed from the student reports page.
