Student Information - Skills

The student skills tool in Akada Online allows you to create and attach certain skills or skill levels to any student as well as enter any important notes about those skills. This can be useful in determining which classes the student may be eligible for at registration time or making recommendations on classes for parents.

To Add Student Skill:

  • Select the Student Tab at the top of Akada Online.*

  • Select the student by clicking on his or her name.

  • Click View to expand and see the skill information.

  • Click the Add Skill button.

  • Enter Date

  • Select the skill from the drop-down menu.

  • Enter a comment if applicable.

  • Click the Add Skill Link to save.

*You may also select using the search tool at the top of the Akada Online screen and click on their name in the results.

Edit or Delete Skill:

You may edit or delete any skill from a student's information page by simply clicking the edit or delete link to the right (fig. 1) of the assigned skill.
