Text Messaging - Subscribing
You've set up your text messaging and have been assigned a text number. With new guidelines for text messaging, parents, students, and staff must opt in to receive text messages from your studio.
Your customers can subscribe via the Parent Portal or by texting the word "start" to your texting number.
Staff members can text the studio text number to subscribe to your studio messages.
Once you are subscribed, your software updates will be automatically applied.
Can I Subscribe My Parents to Texting?
No. Businesses can not subscribe their customers to text messaging. The recipient must opt in to text messaging themselves. Your parents can opt into your text messages by either sending a text to your studio's assigned text number (located on the Send Text page) with the message "START" or they can opt in via the Parent Portal in the Account Information section:
